Northpole Autumn Whispurr and
Northpole Harlequin Bandit

Two wonderful solid ragdoll kittens born in April 2004 - a
calico lynx female (Autumn) and a black and white mitted female
(Bandit). They are
litter sisters.
My family and I went to pick up my new ragdoll kitten (Autumn) from our
breeder with a very large crate in hand. I wonder now why my
husband was not suspicious that I had an ulterior motive LOL, a crate
large enough for two. The day we went to pick Autumn up, my heart
was drawn to a tiny playful curly-tailed black and white mitted kitten.
My wish was granted when we walked out the door of the breeder's with
my long awaited calico solid ragdoll and my wee mitted kitten.
Bandit is the smaller of the two kittens (Wee Baby as she is fondly
called). She is a sun loving sweetheart with a long curling tail.
She is a soft spoken kitten with her voice more of a squeak than
anything else. She enjoys feather wands and springs and is
acquiring a taste for cat nip toys. Autumn, at 10 months, is weighing
in at 10 lb. She is my Chatty Cathy, very talkative for a ragdoll
I understand. She comes up to my desk to talk to me, often
bringing her favourite toy (coiled springs) to be tossed and
fetched. She makes herself quite comfortable beside my keyboard
as I sit working in my office. Bandit enjoys sprawling out on the
seat beside me in my office, underneath my desk, or on my office
shelves.

They have made life much more active for my 3 year old Devon named
Mystic. We must make sure we clear the pathways when they are playing
chase, bouncing off the couch, through the cat climber, underneath and
over chairs.
To be honest, originally as much as I liked ragdoll kittens, I had an
aversion to pointed cats based on bad 'siamese' memories as a
child. When I happened upon the solid ragdoll, my attention was
captured and I sought out a breeder to help me fulfil my dream. I
cannot thank Valerie enough for my beautiful kittens, and each and
every day, I browse all the wonderful ragdoll sites to see new faces,
all the while understanding that with four cats in my house I have room
for no more. But it doesn't hurt to look....does it?
